Enter His gates with Thanksgiving

November 23, 2011 § Leave a comment

These past few days, I have been overwhlemed with thankfulness.

Original, yes?

And since tomorrow I will be totally occupied by a parade, trying to make a pie, and eating my weight in rolls, I figured I would share it with you a day early.  Now, I already mentioned some things here, but here are a few more for the list.

First of all, I never thought I would be thankful for only having to write 13,700 more words, but boy, am I.  One more week of NaNoWriMo. Now, if I could only free myself from distractions, I would be golden.  Hand me a cup of coffee.

And what a blessing it has been to celebrate a season of BABIES!  Little fingers, little toes.  All healthy.  So much fun to get excited with the families and see them have little ones.  It. Never. Ceases. To. Amaze. Me.

Finally, thank you, most of all, for being here.  I love this little blog and being able to share with you life’s ups and downs is so much fun for me.  And with that, I figured I had to share with you something special, as promised.

I ran out of steam by the pink.

Enjoy your holiday.  Love your families.  And know that you are loved. By me.

Happy Thanksgiving!

 3 Know that the LORD is God.
   It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
   we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
   and his courts with praise;
   give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
   his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100:3-5
